Its products are used daily in architecture and architectural visualization, media and entertainment, and product e-commerce. The Engineering Academy Award and Engineering Emmy Award-winning renderer V-Ray has been used in hundreds of Hollywood blockbusters over the last twenty years.
Innovations have always been at the core of Chaos’ business, and the company continues to expand its R&D activities. Led by company co-founder Vladimir (Vlado) Koylazov, Chaos Innovation Lab explores the fields of computer graphics, ray tracing, real-time rendering, computer vision, machine learning, and more, in line with the company’s goal to support its customers’ creativity and simplify their workflows.
The most recent project developed by Chaos Innovation Lab, Project Arena, is about to change how virtual productions in Holywood are made. It seamlessly integrates real-time ray tracing technology into the production pipeline, offering high-quality visualization and effective workflow. It was showcased with the production of the short film Ray Tracing FTW, which had its official premiere in Los Angeles in September.
The Chaos team comprises almost 800 professionals based in 11 offices worldwide. It continues to enhance and further develop its globally acclaimed 3D visualization products, such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Enscape, the 3D assets platform Chaos Cosmos, the product e-commerce platform Cylindo, Chaos Cloud platform, and more.
