The OpenFest 2023 program is here – from advanced tech talks for the highly-skilled, through art sections for the creative ones, to workshops, suitable even for the curious kids.
4-5 Nov 2023
John Atanasoff Forum, Sofia Tech Park
The conference will get off to a flying start with the first keynote – Bogomil Shopov brings back the fun in coding with “Where did all the fun go?”.
Drew Gallatin picks up momentum with his “Why We Run FreeBSD-current at Netflix” talk and what they’ve been up to, i.e. how they build a CDN using FreeBSD-current, at Netflix.
Bozhidar Bozhanov joins the speakers’ team with his “Anti-corruption software” talk right after the midday break.
From an ambush, Valentin Hristev is going to try to catch us off guard on Sunday with his lecture “National Security Agency (NSA) Kubernetes Hardening”. Cybersecurity, garnished with container orchestration for an extra pinch of opulence.
Traditionally strong presence for Nikolay Tenev’s “Motiki” (“Мотики” or “Hoes”). The most interesting bugs from the past year will crawl down the hall on Sunday.
ОpenArt returns with a bang at the 21st edition of OpenFest, this time with the kind cooperation of artificial intelligence.
Ventsilav Valev’s “It Or Not It: Artificial Intelligence – Inspiration or Threat?” does not try to scare but rather offer an insight on ways art people can unceremoniously take advantage of AI.
And this is only a small portion of all the interesting lectures this event has to offer. You can find the full program here and on OpenFest’s website – openfest.org.
Several workshops will contribute for an even more enjoyable experience.
And we are far from over…
