The future is TBD. We support the people building it.

On November 7 and 8, at the Interpred center, OpenFest will once again bring together the Bulgarian community dedicated to free software, open source, and shared knowledge.

We live in times of rapid change and countless ready-made predictions. OpenFest chooses an honest starting point: we cannot predict exactly what lies ahead, but we know we will need curiosity, skills, an active exchange of ideas, and people who take action. That is why the motto of OpenFest 2026 is “TBD”—the future is something to be discussed and determined.

Since 2003, OpenFest has been a meeting place for people who do not merely use technology but explore, improve, and share it. As speakers, attendees, and volunteers, they exchange experiences, launch projects, bring knowledge back to their teams, and attract new members to the community.

Why become part of OpenFest 2026?

· Be where the meaningful conversations happen.

Gain the opportunity for a visible and impactful presence among technical professionals.

· Strengthen your reputation as an employer and a technology company.

Show current and future colleagues that you value curiosity, collaboration, and the free exchange of knowledge.

· Give your team a reason to participate.

OpenFest is a space where people can meet peers from the community, learn something new, share experiences, and return to work with fresh ideas and new connections.

· Invest in the local tech ecosystem. You support an environment where people learn from one another, test ideas in practice, and develop the ability to take action when there is no ready-made solution.

What does your support make possible?

With the help of its partners, OpenFest can bring in more international speakers, host an after-party, and support various workshops for participants.
