This year, OpenFest is once again giving everyone a chance to take the stage with a Lightning Talk! These are brief, 5-minute presentations that offer you the opportunity to share your project, discovery, or idea with the wider community.
Registration and Deadlines:
- How to Sign Up: You can register for a Lightning Talk at the fest’s Reception Desk.
- Deadline: Registration closes 1 hour before the scheduled start of the session.
Technical Requirements:
- Every speaker must bring their own laptop (if they plan to show any visuals).
- The laptop must have an HDMI output.
- If you have any concerns about your laptop’s compatibility with our projection system, please reach out to the volunteers to arrange a preliminary test.
Organizational Details:
- We kindly ask everyone who has signed up to be present in the designated hall at least 1 hour before the session begins to ensure the smooth running of the event.
